Make sure to check here every Thursday during NFL season as I utilize all my sharps aka professional bettor contacts, Las Vegas Oddsmaker contacts, and NYC bookies to give you the info on what’s happening behind the counter in the NFL betting marketplace with every game on the board.
I always preach to pay attention to opening numbers. If you want to win like as sharp you have to think like a sharp I always say. Remember sharps aka professional bettors bet early in the week into opening numbers to get themselves the best value possible.
Remember squares aka the general betting public usually wait to place their bets until gameday before kick off. So any early moves you see during the beginning of the week is sharp money.
It’s important to realize that every early sharp move isn’t them holding on to that position. Sometimes it’s head fake money which is sharps moving a line in order to get a more favorable number on game day betting the other side.
Thursday
Houston @ Cincinnati
My Vegas contact said it’s been all Bengals money here moving them from -3 to -6 as we go to press. He said his total opened at 38.5 and went as low as 37.5 but settled at 38 as we go to press.
Sunday
Tennessee @ Jacksonville
Nothing on the side in Vegas but sharps hit my guy on the Under moving him from 43.5 to 42.5. He said over 80% of the tickets he wrote are on Tennessee and he very likely will need Jacksonville here.
Cleveland @ Baltimore
Sharps are all over the Under here betting my Sin City Oddsmaker source from 41 down to 39.
Buffalo @ Carolina
Sharps took the Bills at +7.5 in Vegas but at 7 all has been quiet. My guy also said a little move on the Total moved them from 42.5 to 43.
New Orleans @ New England
Not much on the side but a little sharp interest mixed with public money on the Over moving this from 54.5 to 55.5
Arizona @ Indianapolis
Nothing to report from Vegas on this one.
Philadelphia @ Kansas City
My Vegas contact tells me back and forth sharp action here. He said some sharps are on the Chiefs at -5 and -5.5 and when he hit 6 he saw opposing sharps come in on the Eagles. He moved back to 5.5 where the number currently sits.
Minnesota @ Pittsburgh
Strong public interest on the Vikings here my Vegas contact said after the strong Monday Night showing. He noted 3/4 bets are on the Vikings here. He said the public with a little sharp money mixed in moved him off the key number of 7 to 6.5 on this game. His total is up a half of tick from 45 to 45.5.
Chicago @ Tampa Bay
Nothing to report in Vegas on this game.
Miami @ LA Chargers
A little back and forth sharp action here. My guy tells me he took some sharp action on the Chargers -4 and opposing sharps came in on the Dolphins+4.5. He said his total is up a half of tick from 44.5 to 45.
NY Jets @ Oakland
Split action here. My Vegas Oddsmaker source says he took some sharp interest on the Jets +14 but did note other opposing sharps came in on Oakland-13.5.
Washington @ LA Rams
Nothing to report on this game early.
Dallas @ Denver
My Vegas bookie source said almost 4 out of 5 tickets are on the Cowboys here as the public likes the Cowboys. He said the sharps like the Under betting this down to 42 from a 43 opener.
San Francisco @ Seattle
A little sharp interest on Seattle and and the Under here. He said he was bet from -13 to -13.5 and from 43 to 42.5.
Green Bay @ Atlanta
Back and forth sharp action here in Vegas. He said some sharp action on the Packers+3 and when he moved to 2.5 and other sharps came in on the Packers. His total is up from 53.5 to 54.
Monday
Detroit @ NY Giants
Public and sharp interest on the Lions here. He said almost 4 out of 5 of his bets are on the Lions here moving him from 4 to 3.
Sometimes I agree with these early moves and sometimes I don’t. One thing I can say in my opinion has been a strong one.
