NFL Week 12 Smart Money Report

My weekly blog special the “Smart Money Report” Week 12 edition is here to help you guys out. Make sure to check here every Thursday during NFL season as I utilize all my sharps aka professional bettor contacts, Las Vegas Oddsmaker contacts, and NYC bookies to give you the info on what’s happening behind the counter in the NFL betting marketplace with every game on the board.

I always preach to pay attention to opening numbers. If you want to win like as sharp you have to think like a sharp I always say. Remember sharps aka professional bettors bet early in the week into opening numbers to get themselves the best value possible.

Remember squares aka the general betting public usually wait to place their bets until gameday before kick off. So any early moves you see during the beginning of the week is sharp money.

It’s important to realize that every early sharp move isn’t them holding on to that position. Sometime it’s head fake money which is sharps moving a line in order to get a more favorable number on game day betting the other side.

Carolina @ Indianapolis (+3.5, O/U 45)
My Las Vegas source opened this at 4 and saw some sharp $ on the home dog and moved down as low as 3 before settling at 3.5. He said he’s been bet up from 44 to 45.5 at his shop with support for the Over. According to my local bookie source he opened at 4 and was bet down to 3.5 with a little sharp support on the dog but the love stopped where they didn’t bet it through to the key # of 3. The total has seen Over support bet up from 43 to 45.5.

Minnesota @ Atlanta (-9.5, O/U 44.5)
My Las Vegas contact said he’s quiet on the side and total with no early movement to report on this game at 9.5 and 44.5. Here in New York the side is quiet at the dead # of 9 but the total was bet down half a tick from 44.5 to 44.

Houston @ Jacksonville (-6.5, O/U 37.5)
My Vegas contact opened this up at 3 and saw an influx of public $$ coming in on Houston tied into parlays, etc. He has moved this all the way up to 6 and says he feels it will continue to rise. He is waiting for sharps to come in and buy the dog to help even the action out. He said it may take a 6.5 or 7 to do that. Total has been bet down to 37 at his shop from a 38 opener. Here in New York we’re already up to 6.5 from the opener of 3. The total is down to 37.5 from the opener of 39.

Tampa Bay @ Tennessee (-3.5, O/U 43)
My Las Vegas source said all is quiet on the side with no early movement to report. He said the total was bet up from 42 to 43.5 with support for the Over. Same exact story here in NYC with local underground books .We’ve seen the total bet from 42 up to 43 with no movement on the side

Arizona @ St.Louis (-2.5, O/U 39.5)
My Vegas source opened the Rams as a 3 point favorite and they were bet down as low as -1.5 before settling at -2.5. Here in New York we’ve been at 2.5 at local sharp shops all week. Total opened at 39 was moved down to 38.5 before settling at 39.5.

Cleveland @ Cincinnati (-7, O/U 37.5)
My Las Vegas contact opened this at 7.5 and said he took a little sharp support on the dog moving this down to 7 where the love stopped. The total has been quiet at 37.5 at his shop. Here in New York my local source said he opened this at 7 and adjusted up to 7.5 to entice some sharp tickets because he expects lopsided public action on the Bengals. He got hit with some sharp love at 7.5 and has settled back at 7 with -115 vig on the Bengals. He thought the total should have opened at 36 in what he feels will be a low scoring game. He opened it at the number and was bet up to 37.5.

Buffalo @ NY Jets (-9, O/U 42)
The Jets opened up -8 and were bet up to -9 at my Vegas contacts shop. The total was bet down half a tick from the 42.5 opener down to 42. According to my local bookie contact he opened up Jets-7.5 and is up to -9 as some early money has come in on the Jets in lieu of the Fred Jackson injury. Same exact story on the total moving down to 42 from the 42.5 opener.

Washington @ Seattle (-3.5, O/U 42.5)
My Vegas oddsmaker source said he took sharp $$ on the dog when this opened at 4.5 and was bet down to 3.5. He said he moved the total up from 37 to 38. Here in New York this opened at 5.5 and was bet down to 3.5 with sharp support on the dog. Total quiet at 37.5 over here right below the key # of 38.

Chicago @ Oakland (-4, O/U 41.5)
My Vegas oddsmaker source opened this at 3.5 and went up to 4.5 where he saw sharps buy back on Chicago at 4.5. He said many sharps he knows felt this is an overreaction to the Cutler injury. Total was bet down half a tick from 42 to 41.5. Here in New York sharps took the dog at the 4.5 opener. The line moved to 4 where the love stopped. The total is quiet at 41.5 right below the key # of 42.

New England @ Philadelphia (+3.5, O/U 49.5)
My Vegas oddsmaker contact opened this at 4.5 and saw sharp support on the dog moving this down as low as 3 before settling at 3.5. A little support on the under moving this down to 50 from the 50.5. Here in New York books protected themselves from sharps by opening this at 3.5. We’ve seen no movement on the side with the total being bet down from 50 to 49.5

Denver @ San Diego (-6, O/U 41.5)
My Vegas oddsmaker source is quiet on the side at 6.5 with the total bet down from the 43.5 opener to 42 with support for the Under. Here in New York my local bookie source opened at 7 and also saw sharp support on the dog moving this down to 5.5 with support on the Under as well. He was bet down to 41.5 from a 43 opener.

Pittsburgh @ Kansas City (+10.5, O/U 40)
My Vegas oddsmaker source opened this at 9.5 and early $$ has moved this up to 10.5 currently. The total has stayed quiet at 39.5 up to this point. Side and total quiet here in the New York underground scene with this game. To bet the Chiefs at 10.5 the vig has been adjusted to -115 to make note of.

NY Giants @ New Orleans (-7, O/U 50.5)
My Vegas oddsmaker source opened this at 6.5 and was bet up to 7 pretty quickly. He said all is quiet at the key # of 7. The total has been bet down from the opener of 52 to 51. Here in New York it’s still early so the side is quiet at 7 with adjusted vig of -115 on the Saints. The total has been bet down a half of tick from 51 to 50.5.

Sometimes I agree with these early moves and sometimes I don’t. One thing I can say in my opinion has been a strong one this year in the NFL as one of the hottest NFL handicappers in America. I have a 34-22-1 (61%) record this year with 28.4* units of profit netted! It’s good to have a guy like me by your side come Sunday to help utilize my contacts to make us money on some diamonds in the rough. Hop on board with me this Sunday and Monday night as I look to exploit the marketplace with the help of my contacts.
