2015 NFL Week 16 NFL Smart Money Report

FootballMoneyMy weekly blog special the “Smart Money Report” Week 16 edition is here to help you guys out. Make sure to check here every Thursday during NFL season as I utilize all my sharps aka professional bettor contacts, Las Vegas Oddsmaker contacts, and NYC bookies to give you the info on what’s happening behind the counter in the NFL betting marketplace with every game on the board.

I always preach to pay attention to opening numbers. If you want to win like as sharp you have to think like a sharp I always say. Remember sharps aka professional bettors bet early in the week into opening numbers to get themselves the best value possible.

Remember squares aka the general betting public usually wait to place their bets until gameday before kick off. So any early moves you see during the beginning of the week is sharp money.

It’s important to realize that every early sharp move isn’t them holding on to that position. Sometimes it’s head fake money which is sharps moving a line in order to get a more favorable number on game day betting the other side.

San Diego @ Oakland

A small move in NYC from -5 to -5.5 on Oakland with the total jumping back and forth between 47 and 46.5 all week. My Sin City contact tells me he opened this at 5.5 and went down to 5 initially but then saw enough money come in Oakland to push him up to 6. His total opened 47 and is down a half of tick to 46.5 as we go to press.

Washington @ Philadelphia

Here in NYC the early preference has been on the dog and the Under. My local bookie source told me he saw some action on Washington at +3.5 and his total was bet down to 47.5 from a 48.5 opener. All is quiet in Las Vegas early this week on this one.

Chicago @ Tampa Bay

Nothing on the side to report in NYC but my local bookie source tells me the sharp money has been on the Under pushing him down to 46 from a 47 opener. Nothing in Vegas to report on this one.

Indianapolis @ Miami

All is quiet in both markets on this one early on.

San Francisco @ Detroit

My NYC source tells me Detroit was a popular move early this week in both straight bets and teasers from sharps. He moved this to -9 to take them out of the teaser window. Same exact story in Vegas on the side, neither market had anything to touch on the Total.

Cleveland @ Kansas City

A little bit of Cleveland money pushed my NYC guy down from 12.5 to 12 but he said the bigger sharp move was on the Under betting him down to 43 from a 44 opener. Nothing in Vegas worth noting on this one.

Carolina @ Atlanta
My local NYC guy tells me a little sharp action on the Falcons at +7. Not enough for him to move this off the key number, but enough for him to raise the vig to bet Atlanta to -120 from -110. My Vegas guy tells me did take enough sharp money on the Falcons to move off of the key number, he is down 6.5 on this game as we go to press.

Dallas @ Buffalo
The Dog and the Under has been the bet here in NYC according to my local contact. He tells me he is down to 6 from a 6.5 opener on the side and down to 43 from a 44 opener on the Total. Nothing on the side in Vegas, but my Las Vegas oddsmaker source tells me his total is down to 43 from a 43.5 opener.

Pittsburgh @ Baltimore
Nothing to report in either market on this game.

New England @ NY Jets

Nothing in NYC to report on this early on this week. My Las Vegas contact tells me he opened this at 3.5 on the strip and sharps took the 3.5 with the Jets forcing him to move down to 3.

Jacksonville @ New Orleans
Off the board.

Green Bay @ Arizona
Nothing in NYC to report in either market on this one early on.

St. Louis @ Seattle

Nothing to report in NYC on this one early. My Vegas guy tells me he is down a half of tick on the Total with some Under money pushing him down to 40.5 from a 41 opener.

NY Giants @ Minnesota

A little early sharp money on the dog and Under according to my local NYC Bookie source. Giants have been bet down to 6 from a 6.5 opener and his Total was bet down a half of tick from 46 to 45.5. Strong sharp move on the Dog in Sin City as my oddsmaker source tells me he’s been bet down to 5.5 from a 6.5 opener on this one.

Cincinnati @ Denver

Nothing much on the side here but the sharp move has been on the Under in NYC as my local contact has been bet down to 41 from a 42 opener on this game. Nothing to report in Vegas early on this week on this one.
